Backup configuration file

The configuration file for managing the backup of your ArcGIS GeoEvent Server configuration (com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg) can be found in one of the following locations depending on your operating system.

• Windows - <ArcGIS Server installation directory>\GeoEvent\etc\com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg
• Linux - <ArcGIS Server installation directory>/GeoEvent/etc/com.esri.ges.persistance.file.cfg

In the file, a single property is available (see below) that allows you to set the location for storing the backups of your GeoEvent Server configuration as XML files.

com.esri.persistence.file.path=C://ProgramData//Esri//GeoEvent//

The configuration backup location is used in conjunction with the Automatic Backup Settings found on the Settings page in GeoEvent Manager (Site > Settings).
